These dual column poems paddle in dragon boat formation, spanning the globe. Qu Yuan meets St. George as dervishes whirl about mourning dove nestlings. Written while Anderson Moseman trained the Gorges Dragons of Ithaca, NY, these poems document a range endeavors in which human try to sync their breathing to work as a coordinated whole. Written in anticipation of a journey to Egypt, these diary entries examine biomimicry implicit in the very myths that words carry as ready cargo.

LORI ANDERSON MOSEMAN founded the press Stockport Flats in the wake of Federal Disaster #1649, a flood on the Upper Delaware River. Anderson Moseman's poetry collections are All Steel (Flim Forum Press), Temporary Bunk (Swank Books), Persona (Swank Books), Cultivating Excess (The Eighth Mountain Press) and Walking the Dead (Heaven Bone Press). Anderson Moseman has a Masters of Fine Art from the Iowa Writers' Workshop and a Doctor of Arts in Writing from the University at Albany.
